Marin
School of the Arts Mission Statement:
Provide high school students from Marin County and the surrounding
areas with a public school experience that offers comprehensive,
challenging and intensive arts education within a larger program
of academic and college-prep courses.
Provide a place for creative students to develop their talents
in a supportive learning community, with gifted teachers and
peers dedicated to teaching and learning in a wide range of
artistic disciplines: Creative Writing, Dance, Digital Arts,
Film & Video, Instrumental and Vocal Music, Musical Theater,
Photography, Theater Arts, and Visual Arts.
Provide academic and emotional support, as well as real world
experiences in the arts, so that they may succeed both at school
and in their future careers.
