Our students won over 130 awards, our 41 graduating seniors won over $1.1 million in scholarships to date - even in these difficult financial times and will be attending some prestigious colleges, including Dominican/Alonzo Lines Dance program, Lawrence, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, San Francisco Conservatory of Music (2), UC's Berkeley, Davis (2), UCLA and UCLA Theater Program, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz (2), USC, USF, University of Oregon (2), Wesleyan and Whitman this Fall. Two of our students decided to take a gap year and see the world.
Congratulations to Nikola Printz (MT/VM'09) for winning the Beach Blanket Babylon $10,000 College Scholarship in the Vocal Music Category. Each year, three students win in the categories of Theater, Dance and Vocal. Last year, our Theater student Shaylin Hoye won in the Theater category.
